1. Greece: Work at ”Montessoriani Sxoli” Kindergarden

Where: Thessaloniki, Greece

Duration: 6 weeks

Start: November 1 — December 13, 2016

Application Deadline: 23 December

Food: Not provided

Accommodation: Provided— flat with other AIESEC trainees, host family, or hostel booked by AIESEC. Bills will be covered up to 50 euro/person.

Project: Make a difference in the future generation by guiding the tender minds of children 3-6 years old. In this project, you will focus on developing an understanding of and a respect for different cultures by presenting your home culture, interacting with the children in English, and promoting a unified spirit, dispelling any bullying or racism.

2. Indonesia: I Can Read Bandung

Where: Bandung, Indonesia

Duration: 6 weeks

Start: November 4 — December 16

Accommodation: Provided­—Host family

Project: Help decrease the illiteracy rate in Indonesia by taking on the role of an English teacher for children from 2-12 years old. Teach basic English through graded activities and tests. Improve the kids’ confidence to speak in English, and simultaneously increase their cross-cultural awareness.

3. India: The Sales and Marketing Project

Where: Navi Mumbai, India

Duration: 6 weeks

Start: December 5, 2016 – January 16, 2017

Accommodation: Provided – Shared accommodation

Project: You will aim to create awareness about social issues such children rights, conservation of the environment, gender equality and human trafficking among the citizens of Navi Mumbai and try to reach out to as many citizens as possible. Throughout the duration of the project, you will be responsible for organising and executing the Global Village events in different universities, schools and multiplexes to discuss the social issues in the city and provide solutions. You will also have to travel around the city to discover and click some pictures as well as write a blog.

4. Bahrain: AMAL – Entrepreneurship & Leadership

Where: Manama, Bahrain

Duration: 6 weeks

Start: August 5, 2016 – January 15, 2017.

Accommodation: Shared accommodation (boys and girls in separate rooms) with main amenities provided.

Project: Enable the Bahraini youth by training and teaching them the basic skills and knowledge related to business which are needed to create their own startups, develop their leadership qualities and implement Bahrain 2030 vision principles. You will help create a generation that can drive Bahrain’s economy by preparing today’s youth with the tools to find employment through entrepreneurial and leadership activities.

5. Kenya: Women 2 Business – Mama Africa

Where: Nairobi, Kenya

Duration: 6-12 weeks

Application Deadline: December 31, 2016

Start: October 24, 2016 – April 1, 2017

Food: Two meals provided (Breakfast and Dinner)

Accommodation: Provided but not covered (Check project’s logistics for charges)

Project: Women 2 Business is aligned with the Global Goal 1, No Poverty. You will be required to create curriculum for Entrepreneurial and basic finance classes, which will be implemented. After conducting thorough market research for potential business ventures, develop strategies to expose handmade African products to a larger market base through marketing. Manage the organization’s website and social media accounts so get a chance to develop your proposal and article writing, blogging, blogging and fund raising skills.
