Dubai’s eighth annual car-free day will take place on Sunday, February 5 and the InterContinental Dubai Festival City is egging you on to leave your car at home.

The first ten guests to travel to the hotel solely by public transport on February 5, and who can prove the journey with relevant receipts, will receive a complimentary buffet dinner in ANISE per person.

Car-free day in dubai is aimed at reducing pollution and carbon emissions whole encouraging public transport.

The public are advised that there are at least three possible routes to the hotel by public transport including the use of the Dubai Metro (the nearest stations are Rashadiya Metro Station, Emirates Metro Station and Creek Metro), RTA buses (Dubai Festival City is served by numbers 53, 43, 24 and 64A),  and even a water taxi from Al Jaddaf Marine Station. The use of RTA or private taxis are not included in the initiative.

With eight live cooking stations modelled on the eight points of the star anise, along with an extensive international buffet, Anise delivers a sensory all-day dining experience to remember.
