Well, it’s all about the money! Or is it?!
There are around 20 million Indians expats and about a quarter of them are employed in the Middle East. They come seeking better job prospects and higher salaries than they can find at home.
While the majority of Indians expats in the UAE are blue collar workers, there are growing ranks of white collar workers and skilled professionals. Salesmen, clerical staff and accountants are looking further afield for work as are doctors, nurses and architects.
