You could cut the romance in the air with a knife at the Celebration of Life Red Ball on the 7th of November, 2014, as women in scintillating red gowns and men in black ties made their way to Double Tree by Hilton, JBR. With candles lighting the path to the entrance, every minute detail added vivacity to the evening. The opening speech by Founder Rasheda Khatun took a lovely turn when she asked couples to emphatically express their love to one another [some did sheepishly and others in true Hollywood fashion].

The money raised during this evening was donated to Friends of Cancer Patients U.A.E, The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children, Choice 2 Change Foundation, Harmony House, Marie Curie Cancer Care UK and Red Crescent. Delicious food, a speed painter, a Celebration of Life ‘Make-a-wish’ tree, live music, and a hilarious MC.. and all for a great cause. How could you possibly refuse?
