This New Year’s Eve, the capital will be treated to a spectacular live show at the du Arena, Yas Island by the legendary British band, Coldplay.
From ‘Yellow’ to ‘Up & Up’, Coldplay have created unforgettable hits for almost two decades. Their seventh, ‘A Head Full of Dreams’ bursts with energy, colour and big, life-affirming moments such as the hit singles ‘Adventure Of A Lifetime’ and the rocket-powered ‘Hymn For The Weekend’.
Ahead of the big day, here are some key timings for a heads up:
Arrive early to avoid queuing at the gates and to secure the best spot.
The Village doors will open at 6pm and you can enjoy lively performances by local acts including Franki, Hasan Malik and Jamil Jabbour. In addition, there will be a range of food trucks and festive activities.
Early Entry ticket holders can enter the du Arena at 7pm, and at 7:30pm, the du Arena doors will be open to everyone.
Following the anticipated show, DJ Saif & Sound will continue the New Year celebrations through the night.
The venue will then close at 2:00 am.
