We’re all familiar with the food truck craze that has migrated to the UAE from the US in the last couple of years.

Its popularity in the UAE comes at a crucial time where competition is high, and food trucks are a low-risk, low-cost route for new brands. Marketing becomes easier to a primarily young population that flock to food trucks on instinct.

This trend is set to be fuelled in the beginning of 2017, with Flip International, an F&B management and consultancy company, launching Food Truck Co.

Food Truck Co. will launch of a total of eight trailers, designed to meet the tastes of a young, cosmopolitan and culturally adventurous audience.

In soft launch phase are

Sir Loin & Sons, a gourmet ‘meatery’, offering high quality meats and US-inspired burgers, accompanied by a six-metre long, custom-built Texan smoking rig, that focuses on slow-cooking and smoking the meat before being served!

Go Nuts, with its ‘dessert-only’ philosophy catering to life’s melt in your mouth moments with a social media friendly range of Nutella pizzas, giant cookies and extremely indulgent ‘Savage Shakes’.

El Cubano, which puts a playful and flavourful twist on authentic Cuban street food, with the famous Cuban sandwiches, empanadas and churro bowls just some of the stars of the menu.

Is your mouth watering? Catch Food Truck Co. at Ripe Market and the Food Truck Jam  and visit the permanent home for Go Nuts on The Boardwalk, Palm Jumeirah.

They’re also going to be at Coldplay, Du Arena in Abu Dhabi on New Year’s Eve!
