Dubai Parks and Resorts announced today that the region’s largest theme park destination will open its gates to the public on October 31, 2016.

With three theme parks – Bollywood Parks  Dubai, MOTIONGATE Dubai, and LEGOLAND Dubai, together with LEGOLAND Water Park, it will include Riverland Dubai, a themed retail, dining, and entertainment experience, along with the Lapita Hotel, a Polynesian-themed family resort.

Here’s what to look forward to:

1. Bollywood Parks™ Dubai

Here’s what to expect at Bollywood Parks™ Dubai, the first-ever Bollywood themed park in the world:

Enjoy experiences from movies like: Don, Lagaan, Sholay, Krrish and RA One.

Live performances and hots sets based on the Dabangg, Rock On!! and Zindagi Na Milegi Na Dobara.

Themed cuisine with six restaurants: Mughal-e-Azam, the fine dining restaurant; Jumbo Café, Rock On!! Restaurant, Victoria Station, Spicy Dhaba, Studio Canteen and Juhu Juice Bus housed in a life-size replica of a Mumbai bus, with a few Bombay-street inspired chaat stalls.

Watch 20 live shows across five stages: Rock On!!, Crossroads, Mumbai Express, Rangmanch and Stars on Steps

The crowning jewel, the Rajmahal Theatre: An 850-seat opulent theatre that will host a separately ticketed Broadway-styled Bollywood musical several times a week, the first of its kind in the region. Also relish a ‘shahi’ pre-theatre dinner at Mughal-e-Azam restaurant.

Remember the visit with colorful Bollywood memorabilia available across the eight retail stores and stand-alone carts dotted around the park.

2. MOTIONGATE™ Dubai

The largest of the three theme parks, three legendary film studios come together for the first time within one theme park: Sony Pictures Studios including the Smurfs, DreamWorks Animation and Lionsgate.

What to look forward to:

The Sony Pictures Studios Zone: Blast ghosts in the exciting Ghostbusters dark ride, ride your own Black Beauty aboard The Green Hornet: High Speed Chase roller coaster or free fall from the 58m Zombieland: Blast Off tower.

The Smurfs Village Zone: FBring your family and enjoy the mushroom-capped world of Smurfs with five rides, including the world’s first Smurfs-inspired roller coaster, Smurfs Village Express.

Live Entertainment: Watch a high energy hip-hop show inspired by the popular film franchise, Backlot Beat, a pop-infused musical show or the dancing Ghostbusters band.

The DreamWorks Zone: Indoors and cool, enjoy dark rides, roller coasters and interactive adventures inspired by Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar and How To Train Your Dragon.

The Lionsgate Zone: Live The Hunger Games in a thrilling roller coaster and an exciting 3D motion simulator.

3. LEGOLAND® Dubai and LEGOLAND® Water Park

For children aged 2-12 years, LEGOLAND will feature over 40 interactive rides, shows and attractions and 15,000 LEGO model structures made from over 60 million LEGO bricks.

LEGOLAND will feature six themed lands:

LEGO CITY: Children can indulge in a range of playful learning opportunities including flying a plane at the LEGO City airport, steering a boat at the boating school, or earning a LEGOLAND driving license at the driving school.

KINGDOMS: Knights and princesses can explore a medieval land and conquer the exhilarating Dragon coaster, and journey through the King’s castle full of vibrant LEGO models depicting the era.

IMAGINATION: Enjoy racing LEGO cars and taking advantage of the Master Builder Academy. Toddlers and small children can enjoy DUPLO® Valley while others can enjoy the Kid Power Towers to get a great view of the entire park before a gentle “free-fall” ride to the bottom.

ADVENTURE: Submerge in a captivating Submarine Adventure, Wave Racers that power through waves and dodge water blasts with an exciting escapade through ancient temple ruins to recover a pharaoh’s stolen treasure.

MINILAND: The heart of LEGOLAND, made up of over 20 million LEGO bricks featuring Dubai’s iconic skyline and key landmarks from around the Middle East and international destinations. Visit Build a City where you can find a 10 metre play table with white LEGO bricks and create an ever changing city skyline.

FACTORY: This is where LEGO bricks are produced and you can receive a personal brick fresh from the casting line. Factory is also home to The BIG shop, the largest selection of LEGO retail items in the region, including the full range of LEGO products, exclusive sets and LEGOLAND souvenirs.

LEGOLAND Water Park: Adjacent to LEGOLAND, the water park will feature more than 20 water slides and attractions, each offering a different and fun-soaked experience including Build-A-Raft and Build-A-Boat River where kids can customise their own raft or boat using LEGO soft bricks, before testing their design and floating down a lazy river.

Other Cool Stuff at the Water Park: the LEGO Wave Pool, the DUPLO Wave Pool: (especially for the smaller guests), DUPLO Splash Safari, Joker Soaker, Twin Chasers double body slides, Splash Out featuring a 60-foot drop, and many other attractions along with amenities including dining and retail outlets, changing rooms, cabanas, guest services, first aid and prayer rooms.

4. Riverland™ Dubai

With to without a ticket to the adjoining parks, here you can shop at over 50 stores, dine and enjoy street performances, festivals and concerts.

Dine in themed zones: From 1950s America at The Boardwalk to medieval France at The French Village, colonial India at India Gate and the 19th century-themed Peninsula.

5. Stay at Lapita™ Hotel
