Starting September 29 2015, The Meydan Hotel is giving visitors a chance to experience a never-before-seen side of world-class horse racing. Home to the world’s richest race, the Dubai World Cup worth USD 10 million, the hotel is now offering an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Meydan Stables and the Meydan Grandstand & Racecourse.

Every Tuesday and Wednesday morning, start the tour at The Meydan Hotel with a five-star buffet–style breakfast at Farriers Restaurant, where visitors can watch the racehorses during their morning track work sessions. A real treat for horse lovers, guests can then take a personal tour of the stables where the horses are groomed and conditioned, and learn how they are trained and prepared for race day.

Also, as part of the tour, guests can see the horses exercise in the equine swimming pool, go behind-the-scenes at the Meydan Grandstand, and gain exclusive access to the Jockeys’ Room, Saddling Paddock and Parade Ring.

The duration of the breakfast and tour is four hours, and takes place from 7:30am – 11:30am. The stable tour commences at 8:15am. The exclusive tours are priced at AED 275 for adults per person and AED 150 for children (between 4 & 12 years).

All Stable Tour guests will receive an exclusive 10% discount voucher on packages during Meydan’s 2015-2016 race season at the Meydan Racecourse.
