A touch of tribal, a pinch of sandy Bohemian, and, of course, the little white dress. A lot of 80s trends are weaving their way back onto the runway this season, with a few distinctive changes, of course. Here are the biggest summer 2015 fashion trends :-
Tribal prints & Gingham
If you’re beach-bound, swap your sarong for a printed tribal skirt or swap your bikini for a stunning printed one-piece [they’re in]. Flared pants in tribal prints were also seen across collections.
Crochet & Florals
Luscious and intense, printed and crocheted florals have made a huge come-back, especially on skirts and dresses. Pair them with sleek pointed ballet flats [they’re back too]!
Frayed Denims
Take a pair of scissors to your old low-waist skinny denims and give it a frayed cuff. The longtime backbencher is now under a spotlight, with many designers spouting patched denim skirts and a whole array of new cuffs [no, not pegged].
White dress with a twist
The classic little white dress ensemble paired with fitted boots or a denim jacket elevates the classic from tired to chic.
Fringes
Throw together your most boho chic dress [preferably fringed] with a leather jacket and suede heels for a vivacious, yet laid back cool. Voila – you’re in the front row.
