Move your hips to some Samba, get intimate with Salsa, and sway to Tango this Friday, Jan 30, at the Latin Art Fest at the Artissima Gallery in Al Quoz from 6pm to 11pm. It’s going to be an awe-inspiring carnival [with free entry] of delicious street food, live painting by Latin-American and Spanish artists, Latino music and to top it all off, a Latino Bazaar. Doesn’t that sound like a delightful way to spend a Friday evening?
The event will also feature the award-winning photographs of Tariq Zaidi titled ‘Latinos in the UAE’, which will be open to the public for two weeks. As part of the Dubai Shopping Festival, this one-night-only fiesta is organised by the Al Quoz Project. So, if you’re an arts enthusiast, is you enjoy street art, like to groove to live music or if you’re simply interested in getting to know the beautiful Cultura de Espana, head down to Al Quoz this Friday.
