DJ Steve Aoki will make his debut appearance at Nasimi Beach, Atlantis the Palm, on Friday, April 14 to headline Nasimi Sessions.
He will be accompanied by British hip hop Artist Fuse ODG and US electronic duo Cheat Codes warming up the stage from 7:30 pm followed by Aoki, the maestro behind “Just Hold On” with Louis Tomlinson, coming on at 10pm.
Famed for his love of throwing cake, crowd surfing on an inflatable raft and infamous collaborations with the likes of Louis Tomlinson, LMFAO, Kid Cudi, and will.i.am, the Grammy nominated DJ is set to bring the house down with an impulsive performance full of energy and surprises.
Taking place from 5pm – 3am, Aoki is set to pump out chart topping tunes including latest hit with Louis Tomlinson “Just Hold On”, “Boneless” with Chris Lake and Tujamo and the remix that made Aoki famous “Pursuit of Happiness” with Kid Cudi.
Supporting Aoki will be Fuse ODG, best known for his 2013 single “Antenna” which peaked at number 7 on the UK Singles Chart. Born in London and raised in Ghana, Fuse ODG is a Multi-platinum selling independent recording artist renowned for his uplifting and inspirational music that’s incredibly hard not to dance to.
Also, joining Aoki will be Cheat Codes, an American electronic music DJ trio from Los Angeles, California. Following a successful tour with The Chainsmokers, in June 2016, they released “Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)” with Dante Klein, which samples Kevin Lyttle’s song “Turn Me On” which quickly gained over 100 million streams and in August 2016 the trio performed at the Billboard Hot 100 festival.
