Update: The Alliance LLC have announced that the GAMES Middle East 2016 event, the region’s premier gaming festival has been postponed until 2017.
Sine their last event was quite successful, they want to push the bar higher this time around – with the schedule of new game releases and new content not in alignment with their dates, they’ve decided to have the event in 2017.
2017 dates will be announced in the New Year.

Listen up, gamers: There’s a lot more to come, but the GAMES16 dates are out. The largest gaming convention in the Middle East back this year from September 22-24 2016 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, so mark your calendars.
A meeting place for PC, Console, mobile and even table-top gamers, the GAMES weekend typically brings with it the latest content and releases, previews of upcoming games, competitions and the latest in gaming tech [Think virtual reality].
Although we’re waiting on the complete attendance list, little birdies have told us that there are several demos with Sony PlayStation, Ubisoft with Watch Dogs 2, Konami with PES 2017 and 2K Games at the event.
GAMES Middle East will also be an official leg of Capcom’s worldwide Street Fighter Pro Tour tournament.
