It was the music festival Dubai had been waiting for. The 5,000-strong Zero Gravity beach party Mark Ronson called: “Incredible. With speakers literally blowing up,” and Jess Glynne declared she was “so, so grateful to have played at.” Now… DXBeach is back, with another eye-popping line-up.

Headlining the 15-hour event on Friday October 23 is Clean Bandit. The 2015 Grammy Award-winning group, who have turned their classical string quartet roots into the electro/house/pop music fusion currently taking the world by storm, will perform live on the DXBeach stage. The UK band behind this year’s biggest dance track ‘Rather Be’, ‘Real Love’ (both featuring DXBeach’s Jess Glynne), ‘Extraordinary’ and ‘Stronger’ are in-demand across the globe, and promise an exhilarating set.

Amid filming for Dubai-shot buzz movie, ‘Star Trek Beyond’, Idris Elba will bring a dash of Hollywood to DXBeach. Best known for his starring roles as Nelson Mandela, John Luther (‘Luther’) and Russell “Stringer” Bell (‘The Wire’), the smooth British actor is an incredibly talented hip-hop/soul DJ to his core. He’ll prove why music was, and is, his first passion, to the throngs of dancing DXBeach fans.

French producer Klingande aimed to “bring love, happiness and the feeling of summer to the people” with the beach-perfect, tropical house tune ‘Jubel’. Having stormed the European charts, and seen ‘Jubel’ listed as one of the top 25 most ‘Shazam-ed’ tracks of all time, Klingande (Swedish for ‘sound’ or ‘chime’) is currently enjoying global success with his melodic, saxophone-heavy sound.

BBC Radio 1’s Mistajam will bring a decade of mash-up genius to the DXBeach decks, while Dutch producer Mike Mago will pull huge house tracks – including the smash collaboration with Dragonette, ‘Outlines’ – from his globally-respected repertoire, to complete this unmissable day-to-night festival.

DXBeach will take over Zero Gravity’s perfectly-placed seaside stretch, garden and indoor bar/ restaurant. Doors open at 12 noon. Daytime entertainment includes live music, local DJ sets, luxurious sun-lounging, water sports and complimentary spa treatments from SensAsia Urban Spa, leading into an incredible line-up of international artists from late afternoon, right through to 3am.

Zero Gravity is offering a limited space DXBrunch between 12pm and 3pm on the venue’s upper deck and terrace, priced from AED 495 (standard package). This will include access to DXBeach.
