1. George’s Marvellous Medicine LIVE

Most of us grew up reading the immensely entertaining classic, George’s Marvellous Medicine written by children’s’ author Roald Dahl. This weekend, the story comes live on stage at the Madinat Theatre where George is left to take care of his grandmother all by himself. Performed by Art for All and the Birmingham Stage Company, it has earned itself positive reviews having had perform here in city before. Don’t miss a chance to revisit your childhood!

2. 7th Dubai Tango Festival

Enroll as a couple to flaunt your moves, and even get a chance to learn more from professional dancers, all included together with a gala-dinner. The workshops during this festival are particularly a crowd-pleaser!

3. It’s ‘Open Mic Night’ at Fraiche Cafe & Bistro

For all those who have been closet-writers, or even the ones who would love to share their words with the world, Fraiche Café & Bistro hosts this event, where poetry and spoken word will take center stage. The readings here are timed between three minutes, and accommodate both English and Arabic. It’s not cliche poetry, but really dramatic readings. Something you can experience only by going to this event.

4. Transcend with the beats at Superheroes XXXL

Combining a mix of garage, bass and house music, this session will host music producers Stanton Warriors and English producer/DJ M.J. Cole, setting the night ablaze with beats that will blow your mind. They may not blow your mind quite literally, but assume you will have a blast!

5. Dubai Duty Free Dart Masters – World Champs!

It’s more than just a game played at a bar. In fact, the world champions including Gary Anderson and Michael Van Gerwen will be going head to head. This event will take place over two days and is one of the biggest events on the Darting calendar.
