The UAE’s biggest free beach music festival will welcome charismatic Swedish songstress Tove Lo alongside local favourites Carl and the Reda Mafia to join superstars in an exciting weekend of diverse and uplifting music on the Corniche. Tove Lo will be performing on Abu Dhabi corniche as part of Yasalam 2015 Beats On The Beach, which is a free entry concert!

Scandinavian singer and songwriter Tove Lo has burst on to the international scene showcasing her uniqueness through the debut album Queen of the Clouds. Boasting chart hits “Stay High (Habits)” and “Talking Body”, the singer’s UAE debut is sure to get the crowd’s adrenaline pumping.

Other Performers

Fresh off of the du Arena stage opening for Bon Jovi- local rocking four-some Carl and the Reda Mafia will join the international superstars on the sand for the second night of the Corniche fun. The two acts join the most diverse line-up of major acts to perform in the heart of the city with Filipino giant Bamboo and Emirati legend Fayez Al Saeed kicking off the weekend on Thursday November 26th. Continuing the beats across the sand will be Grammy-nominated rapper J.Cole alongside Lebanese legend Wael Kfoury and UAE star Omar Al Marzooqi on Friday, November 27th.

Bringing the party home in style for the grand finale on Saturday, November 28th, electronic powerhouse Faithless will perform a special 20th anniversary show for Abu Dhabi, along with an abundance of regional talent with songstress Arwa and the queen of Arabic hip-hop, Malikah.

Local talent from across the Emirates, including multi-instrumentalist Tim Hassall and his band Bridge Incident and rockers Point of View, will make their Beats debut alongside the winner of the inaugural Emerging Talent Competition.

Ahead of the track festivities, the Abu Dhabi Corniche will be lit up with family fun before the concerts with the return of the much-loved F1 FanZone™, creative crowd-pleaser Urban Art Zone and the Opening Parade, where young fans can show off their design talent as they walk the Abu Dhabi Corniche boardwalk to officially kick-off the festival on November 19th. The first ever finale of the Emerging Talent Competition will also set excitement ablaze on the Corniche on Saturday, November 21st as the top three selected finalists perform in front of the esteemed judging panel.

Building on community engagement themed by competitive motorsport, Yasalam once again brings together the community for fun and fitness with the third annual Get Driver Fit (#GDF2015) programme, brought to you by Daman’s ActiveLife (#ActiveLiveByDaman). Kicked off on October 6th at the Yas Marina Circuit, free classes are currently taking place across the city until Thursday, November 19th, when the seven-week programme will culminate in the ultimate test with the Obstacle Course Challenge on the Abu Dhabi Corniche from November 19th to 22nd, as well as new features at the GDF Fitness Zone including a bespoke Muscle Beach and daily drop-in beach fitness sessions.
