MEFCC 2016, the definitive pop culture convention in the Middle East is back and is all grown up! The headliner is none other than comic book god, Stan Lee, who will be joining us for a live chat. There’s also Veronica Taylor who voices the legendary Ash Ketchum of Pokemon. With tickets on sale now, MEFCC 2016 takes another step forward, showcasing an eclectic and fun-filled lineup of content from April 7-9 2016 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) featuring the best regional & international talent, celebrity guests and more for some of the best fans in the world!
This year, MEFCC is expected to attract 70,000 fans from across 30 countries around the world, and will continue to grow the regional industry, support talent and give fans more of what they have enjoyed in previous years.

MEFCC 2016 kicks into high gear by announcing the chance to ask questions via live video Q&A with the legendary creator, Stan Lee. The Marvel genius and creator of characters such as Spiderman, the X-Men, Hulk, and Iron Man to name a few, will host an exclusive session with fans during the convention and there will also be exclusive, signed merchandise from Stan Lee Collectables available for purchase during the 3 day festival.
If that wasn’t enough, all ticket holders at this year’s Con are eligible to enter a lucky draw for a chance to win a trip to Los Angeles for two and take a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to walk the red carpet alongside Stan Lee at the premiere of Captain America: Civil War!

Meet Doc Brown, Ash Ketchum and the co-creator of Deadpool
MEFCC is thrilled to announce its first celebrity guest for 2016, – Christopher Lloyd. This award-winning actor is best known and loved for his roles as Emmett “Doc” Brown in the Back to the Future trilogy, alongside many other quirky roles over an amazing career!

Anime lovers (or anyone who was a child in the 90’s!) are also in for a treat as Veronica Taylor, the veteran voice actor behind Pokémon’s main character Ash Ketchum, will be in attendance. For eight seasons Veronica provided the English language dubbing for Ash in addition to the voice of April O’Neil in the iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.
Finally, in the initial announcement of guests, is the attendance of Fabian Nicieza who comic’s fans will know as the co-creator of Deadpool, now a world-wide mega hit film breaking all previous box-office records and starring Ryan Reynolds. Fabian will be signing and talking to fans about how he came up with one of the craziest characters in Pop Culture.
