Choosing to do The Desert Monologues was one of the best decisions of my life. I know that sounds like an exaggeration but it isn’t– not for me. It opened up for me an expression of myself that I hadn’t allowed before and it was the start of a life changing journey. Sometimes I look back and think ‘what if I hadn’t take that class?’ and I shudder. All I can say to anyone considering it is: Do it! Do it! Do it!

This 6 week course will take participants through a variety of drama-based activities and culminates in monologue performances at The Courtyard Playhouse, a dedicated theatre space.
It is a diverse course designed to be challenging and fun. It doesn’t matter if you are a seasoned professional or an absolute beginner, if you want to act in a professional theatre, improve your confidence and meet like-minded individuals then this course is a great fit.
Courtyard Playhouse has been running Desert Monologues for 8 years now, with workshops thrice a year. Open up and come on down.
