It’s the new rage. ‘Street Nights’ is back taking over a new street in Dubai. The Walk at JBR will be animated by unique street food, street art, and musical performances for the delight of visitors and street culture enthusiasts. The event will take place, from Thursday April 30 to Saturday May 9, 2015 at the Bahar section of The Walk.

During the ten-day event, local street artists will offer live painting, air-brush performances, and street musicians. DJs will spin their latest tracks, and creative home-grown food concepts will invade the street with tasty creations.

Yumtingz, Parkhouse, Ghaf Kitchen, Moti Roti, Panifico, Brooklyn Bros, Melt and Homebakery will enchant foodies with their original food trucks as they feature tasty new street food concepts. Visitors at The Walk at JBR will be able to grab a bite on-the-go while admiring live street art performances and grooving to the sound of urban beats.

James De Valera, aka DJ Lobito, co-founder of Street Nights Dubai and founder of award-winning group Deep Crates Cartel, local leaders in supporting alternative music and street art, will be in charge of the music programing, and will feature some of the coolest new sounds coming out of Dubai’s underground DJs.

Local street artists such as Sya, Bonz, Melancholy, Enforce One, Defs, Void, Activ8r and Tarsila will present The Walk at JBR like never before, as it transforms into an open air street art gallery. Street culture and art enthusiasts will be amazed to see the artists bring walls and structures to life in full colour.

Alexandre Teodoresco, co-founder of Street Nights, said: “We are delighted to be working with MASAT on this exciting venture and grateful to all Street Nights supporters and participants to bring the un-scripted action and authentic fun to a new street in Dubai. Our city has strong talented communities and it is time to let them express their creativity. JBR is the perfect canvas for Street Nights”

There will be plenty of fun art for families too. The pop up studio organized by the Jamjar will again introduce hundreds of kids to the pleasure of painting on a canvas under the careful guidance of artistic coaches

Popular Night Bazaar is also back at Street Nights for the thrill of all the treasure hunters out there who want to find the rare gem. Over 15 local merchants will showcase funky jewelry, stylish hand bags, hip clothes, original pictures and more.

Street Nights Dubai will run from 5 pm to 10 pm and entrance is free to all ages.
