The heat’s rolling in and Dubai’s sweltering summer promises to bring in a an even hotter summer party calendar. Kicking off the first day-to-night music festivals planned to hit the shores of Dubai, Zero Gravity and DGT Events announce DXBeach for Friday April 24, running from 12 noon all the way to 3pm.
Headlined by one of the hottest DJ/producers on the planet, Mark Ronson, DXBeach takes place at the winner of Time Out Dubai’s Best New Club and Best House Night 2015 awards – Zero Gravity.
With space for 5,000 revellers on Zero Gravity’s expansive seaside stretch, DXBeach will open its doors at 12 noon, and run right through to 3am. Kicking off with a jam-packed schedule of local DJ heroes, a daytime arrival at DXBeach means live music, luxurious sun-lounging, water sports and high-energy entertainment, leading into an incredible line-up of international artists.
The promise of an unmissable set from DJ, musician and global sensation Mark Ronson is sending musical goosebumps throughout the city. The man behind the smash hit track of 2015 ‘Uptown Funk’ and ‘Locked Out of Heaven’ with Bruno Mars, as well as collaborations with Paul McCartney, Adele and the late Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson is quite literally a master in the art of filling dance floors, and will offer the DXBeach crowd an unforgettable, outdoor party experience.
Also taking to the DXBeach stage is this year’s freshest female artist, Jess Glynne. Currently number one in the UK charts with ‘Hold My Hand’, Glynne’s soulful vocals on massive hits including ‘Rather Be’ and ‘Real Love’ by Clean Bandit and Route 94’s ‘My Love’ have seen her success snowball in recent months, as the humble Brit confirms she’s on a mission to make the “music of tomorrow.”
Adding huge DJ cache to DXBeach is BBC Radio 1 royalty, Danny Howard, whose endless stream of sets at the world’s biggest festivals read like an encylopedia of dance music venues, as well as Swedish producer John Dahlback, offering unequivocal, decade-in-the-making talent on the decks, that draws crowds in their thousands – and YouTube hits in their millions – with every beat he drops.
Further DXBeach DJs are soon-to-be announced. Zero Gravity will offer a special DXBrunch package between 12 noon and 3pm on the venue’s upper deck and terrace, which will include access to DXBeach, while showcasing its established culinary talents with a wide selection of beach party-perfect fare, for those heading straight to the shore.
