Major waterfront projects in Dubai are set to make the UAE a global leisure marine destination, say the organizers, ahead of the Dubai International Boat Show from February 28 to March 4 2017.

With a boost in yacht and boat sales, increased water sports and the 20 million square foot Dubai Harbour project, get ready to splash in the lap of luxury. The space features a 135 meter-high tower, Dubai Lighthouse, housing a luxury hotel and an observation deck. In true Dubai fashion, it will also have an entertainment and retail space, a yacht club, shopping mall, hotels and residences.

So, imagine the current DIMC, Skydive Dubai and Logo Island sites combined into a single community through a new road network and monorail – all developed in four years once work starts.

Trixie LohMirmand, Senior Vice President, Events Management, DWTC says this new developement can contribute to the Dubai International Boat Show’s stature to the likes of events in Monaco, Fort Lauderdale and Cannes.
